Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo born september,27,1954 in oshogbo osun state, into a mixed religion family. His father is a muslim and his mother a christian. He was a native of Omu-Aran kwara State. He studied architecture at the kwara state polytechnic,ilorin and worked briefly with the federal ministry of housing in ilorin before resigning to concentrate on missionary work.

Young Oyedepo met his wife, former (miss florence Abiola Akano) when he was only 22 years old at a motor pack. They tied the knot in 1982.

Thereafter, in september 17,1983, pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the known general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, ordained formally known brother David and wife, florence Abiola Akano ( known as Faith Abiola Oyedepo) to become pastors and officially commissioned the new church ( living faith church world-wide. A.K.A winner's chapel). Five years later, he was ordained as bishop of the same ministry.



Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo,who is a pastor,grandfather, Christian author,Educationalist,Businessman and also by forbe 2011 as the wealthiest preacher in Nigeria with a net worth of over US$150 million. The church owns four private jets and several buildings,Universities,private primary and secondary school( kingdom heritage) across the Nigeria, including london and US. Oyedepo who is an author and publisher has written over 70 titles apart from periodicals. Books such as:

In May 2007, David Oyedepo Jr, and Isaac Oyedepo were ordained as pastors by kenneth Copeland, happily married with children.
